This is our flagship leadership development programme, ideal for dispersed teams. The aim is to give junior and middle managers a shared set of core leadership and management skills, to enable them to lead more effectively within their organisational and business environment.
It is a blended programme with 72 hours of guided learning hours spread across a period – typically between 6 months and 2 years.
The programme is focused on giving the leaders practical core leadership skills and is designed to be delivered virtually, although options for delivering elements in-person are also available.

This high-quality course has been approved by the Institute of Leadership. Attendees will receive a certificate from the Institute plus 6 months membership with access to a large amount of leadership and management resources.
Participant feedback: “The leading together course does what it says on the tin. It gathers together people from all across the business areas and helps us evaluate what leadership is, what we can do as leaders and ultimately how we can work together to achieve it.”
Participant feedback: “A well-considered, structured training course. I feel that I have learnt a great deal that I can bring back into my team and use to help improve how I work with colleagues and customers.”
Approximately half the learning hours are trainer-led workshop sessions with the other half spend on self-study and practical learning activities related to the subject matter.
The learners will have access to online learning materials on the Quiver Management Academy platform for self-study and as reminders of the tools shared during the workshops.
Participant feedback: “I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme and have been impressed by the quality of topics and materials. Jan and Nick have been excellent trainers and have been encouraging and engaging. It's really made me reflect on how I present myself as a leader and how I can better support my team.”
The leadership / management subjects covered will be agreed with the client organisation under three headings (1) Leading Yourself, (2) Leading Your Team and (3) Leading Your Business.
The programme is designed to give the managers on the course a great experience. It uses Zoom and a variety of engagement and collaboration tools to make the training workshops fun, interesting and highly interactive.
Participant feedback: “The structure of the course has been very good with each session building on the previous one. The pace has been right for learning - giving time to understand the concept and consider how you may use that learning. The breakout sessions within each session have been very good allowing a good mix of different people to work on a particular topic (also shows that Zoom meetings when done right are very successful). Having the ability to engage with our colleagues from other parts of the business (that we wouldn't normally meet up with) has been one of the real bonuses.”
Embedding the new skills and tools into their work environment is key to a successful leadership development programme, and this is built into the learning design through individual and group activities and projects between the workshops.
Running the Leading Together programme demonstrates to the managers that they are valued by senior managers. It builds relationships and a strong leadership community across the business, as well as a shared core leadership tool kit.
Participant feedback: “I would certainly recommend the course. There is enough detail in each session and enough time between the sessions to really allow you to try and incorporate the learning into day-to-day tasks. I have certainly seen a positive change and benefit in how I work and especially how I communicate with colleagues.”
