About Karen

Karen Bowen-Nielsen is a highly experienced executive and business coach with extensive leadership experience across general management, finance and marketing.

She brings a broad commercial and organisational perspective, having worked at senior management level within UK, Japanese, French, Australian and Danish blue-chip organisations, as well as public sector bodies.

Karen has developed deep multi-cultural insight through living and working for more than nine years across continental Europe and North America, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges leaders face in complex, international environments.

In 2002, Karen returned to the UK to co-found Quiver Management alongside Jan Bowen-Nielsen.

Since then, she has built a successful career as an executive coach and leadership consultant, specialising in:

  • Executive and senior leader coaching

  • Leadership team development

  • Organisational assessment and development

Karen combines strong business acumen with a supportive yet challenging coaching style, helping leaders improve clarity, confidence and performance in their role.

She holds a degree in Economics, is a qualified coach and mentor, and an experienced psychometric assessment facilitator.
